New standards of hospitality: Astana Akimat is preparing to welcome tourists

In preparation for the upcoming major events in Astana, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit, and the World Nomad Games, a Transformational facilitation training for law enforcement agencies began in the capital on June 24.
This training, organized by the Akimat of Astana together with Astana Development Center LLP, is aimed at generating new ideas for improving and expanding domestic and inbound tourism, paying attention to the basic rules of working with tourists, as well as understanding the state policy of Kazakhstan in the field of tourism and hospitality.
The training participants will gain knowledge and skills in developing standards for effective communication, rules of treatment, behavior and hospitality towards tourists.
An important part of the training will be the development of techniques for managing emotions and conflicts, which will ensure high quality service and safety of tourists.
The training will be attended by 180 law enforcement officers and 50 guides, tour guides working in places of interest.
This is a significant step towards improving the tourist attractiveness of Astana and the whole country, contributing to strengthening the positive image of the capital in the international arena.
