Rinat Akberdin

Chairman of the Board

Rinat Akberdin was born in 1979 and is a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In 2000, he graduated from Orenburg State University with a degree in Economics. In 2018, he earned a Master’s degree in International Business from the European University in Geneva, Switzerland.

He has over 20 years of experience in public service and the quasi-public sector.

Since 2005, he has served in various roles in public administration: Head of the Regulatory Department for Oil and Gas Pipeline Transport, Assistant to the Chairman of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Regulation of Natural Monopolies, Advisor to the Head of the Prime Minister’s Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Deputy Head of the Akim’s Office of Pavlodar Region, and Head of the Akim’s Office of Pavlodar city.

In 2011, he was appointed Managing Director of JSC “NC "Food Contract Corporation” and later served as Managing Director and then Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of JSC “Kazakhstan Center for Public-Private Partnership”.

In 2013, he was appointed Managing Director of JSC “Kazakhtelecom”.
From 2014 to 2019, he held the positions of Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of JSC “NC "Food Contract Corporation”, as well as Managing Director and Member of the Management Board of JSC “Samruk-Energy”.

In 2019, he was appointed Chairman of the Management Board of JSC “NC "Food Contract Corporation”.

From 2020 to 2022, he served as First Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of LLP “United Chemical Company”.

In February 2023, he was appointed Chairman of the Management Board of LLP “Astana Development Center”.
