The Final Meeting of the Career Guidance Excursion Project Took Place at BINOM School

On December 11, 2024, the final meeting of the «Organization and Conduct of Career Guidance Excursions» project was held at BINOM School named after Kanysh Satpayev. The event was attended by the Astana Development Center LLP, «Gvidon Tour» touroperator, as well as representatives from ModeX, Astana Electrical Technical Plant (AETP), Garbar Group and universities such as Eurasian National University by L.N. Gumilyov and Makhsut Narikbayev University.
The meeting gathered 100 students from grades 9 to 11 of BINOM School, who actively participated in discussions. Invited guests – representatives of enterprises and universities – delivered presentations, sharing opportunities for future specialists and career development prospects.
Olga Abeldinova, Director of the Department of Tourism and Infrastructure Development, Astana Development Center LLP summarized the project’s results aimed at introducing students to various professions and enterprises in the capital. Participants discussed the importance of career guidance for high school students and presented the outcomes of excursions conducted at major industrial enterprises and educational institutions.
Throughout 2024, more than 12,200 students and first-year college students participated in the career guidance excursions. The project’s primary goal is to develop youth tourism and assist students in making informed career choices.
