On April 1-st The Astana Development Center participated in the Kazakhstan-Slovenia Business Forum, which took place in the capital with the participation of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, and the President of Slovenia, Nataša Pirc Musar. Organized with the support of JSC "NC "KAZAKH INVEST", the event became an important step in strengthening trade and economic cooperation between the two countries. The forum brought together representatives of government agencies and business communities from both nations, including more than 25 Slovenian companies.
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Roman Vassilenko and Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia Tanja Fajon delivered welcoming speeches, emphasizing the mutual interest in developing cooperation.
Chairman of the Investment Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Gabidulla Ospankulov presented the country's investment potential, noting that over the past 30 years, Kazakhstan has attracted more than $453 billion in foreign direct investment.
As part of the forum, B2B meetings were held, where entrepreneurs established direct contacts and discussed promising joint projects. This event marked another important step in fostering mutually beneficial cooperation between Kazakhstan and Slovenia.
