A new educational complex — KIS Astana, which includes both a school and a kindergarten — has been completed in the Yessil district. The Center for Development of Astana provided full administrative support throughout all project stages, from land allocation to commissioning.

Project highlights:

• School — designed for 800 students

• Kindergarten — for 120 children

The project was implemented by GateWay, marking the company’s third project in the education sector.

KIS Astana operates under two standards:

• the International Baccalaureate (IB) program

• the State Educational Standard of Kazakhstan (GOSO)

The school’s educational approach focuses not only on academic knowledge but also on building essential competencies such as hard skills and soft skills — ensuring readiness for lifelong learning and development.

The school was previously visited by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, underscoring its importance for the city and the country as a whole.

The successful implementation of this project was made possible thanks to the comprehensive support provided by the Investment and Entrepreneurship Development Department of the city of Astana and the Astana Development Center.
