Kazakhstan takes another step towards international business.

At the initiative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, new rules for obtaining an investor visa have been approved.

Now, foreign nationals who invest at least $300,000 in the charter capital of Kazakhstani companies or in local securities can submit an application for an investor visa electronically.

This so-called «golden visa» opens the way to obtaining a residence permit for up to 10 years.

The initiative creates a predictable and favorable environment for investors, strengthening trust in Kazakhstan’s investment climate and promoting the development of sustainable business ties.

The new rules will come into effect 10 days after official publication.
